PICKLEBALL RULES
All pickleball courts are first come, first serve unless reserved for a special event by the Santa Cruz County Parks and Recreation Department.

 

Permanent Court time limits (when courts are full):
● Games are played to 11, “win by 2”.
● Exit court after each game
● Warmup time limit is 5 minutes.
● No single games

Temporary Court time limits (when courts are full):
● Singles or Doubles

● Exit court after 45 minutes of play
● Alternatively, rotate in waiting players

Players must adhere to pickleball etiquette:
● Players who are waiting to join a game must remain in the spectator area (on wall or outside fence). Please do not crowd the alley.
● When your turn to play arrives, please wait until players have exited the court prior to entering.
● Inappropriate language and/or alcohol is prohibited.
