The May 25 and June 15 trainings will be led by Todd Murphy. Todd comes from a competitive tennis background, playing at St. Mary’s college, and moved to the Seabright beach area 25 years ago. He transitioned to pickleball and is playing at the Senior Pro level in tournaments as his schedule allows.
The first several trainings were led by Karen Haselden, a PPR certified Pickleball Teaching Pro. She has been teaching for over 3 years and has won multiple gold medals at Nationals (most recently in November 2022 at Indian Wells) as well as gold at many tournaments throughout the country. She is also the Pickleball Teaching Pro at La Madrona Athletic Club.

A BIG thank you to Leslie McGarvey for taking on the task of organizing everything and making sure it all came off perfectly.
We all would like to thank Alan Cable for his excellent leadership in managing the Tournament and putting it all together.
A big thanks to Tim McGarvey and Dean Kingston for their help with the tournament and their accurate scorekeeping.
And a big thank you to John Connors for bbq'ng up the sausages and Kevin Kearney for the delicious barbequed chicken!

Santa Cruz Holiday Parade - 12/3/2022


They couldn't rain on our parade!
It was very fun, and there were a lot of people cheering us on.
Our traveling net was a big hit at the parade, so were the big pickeballs.
