Santa Cruz Pickleball Club Inc, (“Santa Cruz Pickleball Club”, “we” or “us”, “The Club”) realizes the value of your information and understands that privacy is a concern of all our members and users. We have therefore developed the following Santa Cruz Pickleball Club, Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) which applies to The Club, Online (www.santacruzpickleball.com) web site (collectively, the “Site”).

Personal Information: In order to become a member of The Club and participate in our activities, you must provide us with certain personal information about yourself. “Personal Information” includes (see Site forms):

· Email Address
· Telephone Number
· Birth Year – To make sure you’re over 18 and our Insurance Policy requires it.
· Gender – Used to balance teams for Club Tournaments
· Skill Level
We use your Personal Information to send you emails about Club news, events and activities. Your participation in any of our activities acknowledges that you agree to the use and sharing of your Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
The Club may disclose Personal Information as described above and where it is required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on The Club or this Site; (2) protect and defend the rights or property of The Club; or (3) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of The Club, its web sites or the public.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Retention of Personal Information
When you submit your personal information via our forms, your information is sent to Mailchimp which is our database for user information. Your personal information is also stored at POWR.io as a backup to Mailchimp. We do not store any of your personal information on our Site. You can go to Mailchimp.com or POWR.io to review their privacy policies.
Payment Data
When you are asked for payment for membership or other activity fees you are interacting directly with either a PayPal or Stripe application. Our Site does not collect any of your financial information. You can go to PayPal.com or Stripe.com to review their privacy policies.
Activities
The Club provides you the opportunity to participate in
various activities. We may from time to time use a trusted service provider to
conduct these activities; however, we will not share the Personal Information
you provide through the club with other third parties unless we give you prior
notice and the opportunity to opt-out of such disclosure.
Certain non-personal information and data may be automatically collected by this Site through the use of “cookies.” “Cookies” are small text files a website can use to recognize repeat visitors, facilitate the visitor’s ongoing access to and use of a site, and allow a site to track usage behavior and compile aggregate data that will allow content improvements. Our Website is not intended for children under 18 years of age . We do not knowingly collect, use, or disclose Personal Data from children under 18.
